Whistleblowing

Last updated: August 2026

If you are worried about malpractice, maladministration, a conflict of interest, or another integrity failure and you cannot raise it with the people involved, you can tell us in confidence. This is ST-POL-19 — the procedure the Conflict of Interest policy pointed at, which was missing from the legacy pack.

1. What this is for

  • suspected malpractice or maladministration;
  • a conflict of interest that has not been declared;
  • pressure to pass, fail, or certificate someone incorrectly;
  • suppression of an appeal, complaint, or safeguarding report.

A personal complaint about service uses complaints. Immediate harm to a person uses safeguarding.

2. How to raise it

Email hello@siteticket.co.uk with the subject “Whistleblowing”. You may write anonymously. If you give a name we will not share it beyond the Head of Centre and, where the concern is about the Head of Centre, the platform operator — unless the law requires us to.

You are protected from detriment for raising a genuine concern. A finding that the concern was raised in bad faith is a separate matter and is not used to punish an honest mistake.

3. What we will do

The Head of Centre (or the platform operator, if the concern is about the Head of Centre) will acknowledge a named report, investigate, and where ST-POL-06 requires it notify GQA within 24 hours of becoming aware of suspected malpractice. You will be told the outcome if we have a way to reach you, without breaching anyone else’s confidentiality.
