Reasonable adjustments

Last updated: August 2026

If a disability or another specific need means the standard assessment arrangements would put you at a substantial disadvantage, you can ask for a reasonable adjustment. This is the published face of ST-POL-07.

1. Examples

  • extra time in a timed test;
  • assistive technology;
  • modified materials (large print, Braille);
  • a separate or quieter room, or a reader or scribe.

2. How to ask

Tell us as early as you can — before the assessment if possible. Email hello@siteticket.co.uk with the subject “Reasonable adjustments”. Include:

  • your name and candidate or booking reference;
  • which assessment or course;
  • what adjustment you need, and why;
  • any evidence you already have (for example a medical letter).

We will write back with the outcome within 5 working days. If we approve, we will set out the plan. Staff record approved adjustments on your record so invigilators and assessors apply them.

3. If we refuse

You can appeal. Something that happens on the day of the assessment is usually special consideration, not a reasonable adjustment.
