Quick answers to common questions
How does assessment work?
You submit evidence, an assessor reviews it. Your qualification has assessment tasks linked to its criteria. Submit your own workplace evidence; your assessor records a decision and explains any further evidence, observation or discussion needed.
What if my evidence is sent back?
You fix it and resubmit, no restart. You normally only need to resubmit the evidence your assessor identifies. Your other completed tasks remain on your record. Your assessor's feedback explains what to change.
How do I check my progress?
Your dashboard shows it live. Your dashboard shows each assessment task, its status and the next action. Documents uploaded and assessor-approved criteria are shown separately.
Is this an official qualification?
Yes. SiteTicket is a GQA-approved centre, and your qualification is nationally recognised.
Do I apply for the card myself?
No. SiteTicket applies to GQA for your CSCS Q-Card once your qualification, required H&S pass, checks, information and payment are complete. GQA aims to issue within 7 working days after receiving everything required. The card is then posted by recorded delivery; this is not a guaranteed arrival date.
How do I get help if I'm stuck?

What does a Blue card need?
A relevant construction NVQ Level 2 and a current GQA Operatives health and safety test pass, or an accepted equivalent CITB pass. The Blue Skilled Worker card is for skilled trades. It requires a relevant NVQ Level 2 and a current GQA Operatives health and safety test pass, or an accepted equivalent CITB pass. We apply after your qualification is awarded and the required checks are complete.
What does a Gold card need?
A relevant NVQ Level 3 for advanced craft, or Level 3 or 4 for supervision, plus the matching GQA health and safety test pass or accepted equivalent CITB pass. The Gold card is for advanced craft and construction supervisors. It requires the relevant NVQ for your role and the matching GQA health and safety test pass, or an accepted equivalent CITB pass. We apply after your qualification is awarded and the required checks are complete.
What does a Black card need?
A relevant construction-management NVQ at Level 5, 6 or 7 and a current Managers and Professionals health and safety test pass accepted by GQA. The Black Manager card is for construction site managers. It requires a relevant construction-management NVQ at Level 5, 6 or 7 and a current Managers and Professionals health and safety test pass accepted by GQA. Your qualification assessment may include a portfolio or discussion.
