About this qualification

For experienced formwork operatives in employment who want to advance their skills and gain recognition of occupational competence in constructing, erecting, striking, maintaining and repairing complex timber and proprietary formwork systems. It provides a progression route from a relevant Level 2 qualification or equivalent workplace experience, and supports progression into supervisory, technical or site management roles. Learners should be aged 16+ and have access to appropriate assessment opportunities. Assessed by portfolio of workplace evidence; graded Pass/Fail.
